\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

• Active Illinois RN license required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU Registered Nurse experience\n
• Extensive cardiac nursing experience\n
• Current certifications: CPR, ACLS, NIHSS\n
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills\n

\n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams\n
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing standards and hospital policies\n
• Accurately document patient care and progress\n
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in accordance with physician orders\n
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management\n
• Participate in unit performance improvement and shared governance initiatives\n
• Provide clinical support and expertise to other hospital departments\n
• Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns as needed\n
